a White Christmas
I'm home!This last group of students was 1/2 as big as usual, and I was with them for twice as long as usual; therefore, the airport 2 nights ago was a mess! Even the fellas abandoned their steez to shed a few tears.
But there they went and here I am, and thank the Lord for the Holidays =) If I'm going to leave warm southern Cali, it may as well be for a White Christmas and a beautiful Evergreen in the living room of my home. Not to mention my big sis to give me a big hug!
Keeping with the Christmas Theme:
Without trying, I am able to give the world around me one of the best gifts there is: Silence.
The truth of the matter: I lost my voice. Today is day 6 without it! Will it ever come back???
Oh I still try to talk. In Disneyland, I sputtered my way thru a few stories before giving up and letting Janna (a kiwi) carry on the conversation by herself- which she did extrememly well!
Christmas EVE:
As amazing as it is to have a computer at my disposal again, I need to go.
Gift Wrapping has yet to commence and I have but a few hours to go.
