I actually really am Patriotic. and Christian. so here ya go... it was a forward from my aunty

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament Members why he believes so much in America, he said:

"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in ... and how many want out. Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:

1. Jesus Christ

2. The American GI

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom."

You might want to pass this on, as many seem to forget both of them.

It's true that when looking at a country and trying to decide if it's good or bad one must open the gates and see where people go - in or out?

Jana, when are we going to lunch? I so miss chatting with you!

Hey Jana, I think that the quotation from Tony Blair has been modified a bit from his original statement back in January 2003 (http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,870314,00.html)

But the point is true and valid nonetheless.
