My Adventure Thus Far:-Detroit to New York, no problem
-New York to the Dominican Republic:

get off plane at 6:30pm- mechanical failures. great
airport for 2 more hours
board at 9:30pm
Arrive in the DR 1:15AM, get to my poor host families house at 2 AM.
Mom is Sonya, sister is Lizzy, and they are awesome. Lizzy is 24 and studied in New York, so I can cheat if I need to.... good/bad!
Spanish lasted for 1.5 hrs today, almost. not quite the 4, but it was a Latin American introduction =) Good enough for me. I went home and slept more! Now, 2 min. left... Ciao
