beach stuff..
Easter is Huge here. like HUGE. almost bigger than New Years! Some things I've experienced:1. My friend Adolfo found me a room. not just a hotel room, those are boooked completely. I"m staying in a bedroom in an actual house! the mother of a friend of his!!! they're very welcoming about me, a gringa stranger, living there. nice and soo different. I woke up to the baby crying and a rooster outside my window!
2. My host family and the 2 friends jason and leonardo drove me 1.40 hr to the beach. stayed with me until Adolfo found me. and went home. just to give me a ride!
3. my 3 eggs/cheese/sausage, tea, fresh rolls, fresh jam breakfast was 3 dollars.
4. Adolfo's girlfriend had her Tongue Pierced on the Beach yesterday. not like a little shop on the beach. actually under a tarp and from a card tablein the sand.
i came close to getting a tattoo same place/same time. NOT really
by the way, i have pics. of it so i'll post them sometime soon
5. Kite Surfing! Kite Boarding. whatever you want to call it. it's here and it's huge
